Job Description

We are in search of an IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT support and administration, coupled with excellent troubleshooting skills. Your role will involve providing technical assistance to users, ensuring systems run smoothly, and addressing hardware and software issues.

Responsibilities

• Install and update software applications as required.
• Manage IT resources to ensure adequate supply and access.
• Assist in the assessment and implementation of new IT technologies.
• Evaluate user needs to recommend appropriate IT solutions.
• Provide hands-on support for IT-related projects.
• Participate in team meetings to improve IT support processes.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related field
• Relevant IT certifications are a plus

Experience

• 2+ years in a similar role

Certifications

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
