Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Switchboard Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing switchboards in various locations. Attention to detail and strong technical skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain various switchboard systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing systems.
• Ensure effective communication with clients for their needs.
• Test and evaluate systems for optimal performance.
• Document all installation and maintenance activities accurately.
• Follow safety protocols during installations and repairs.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery.
• Mentor junior staff in technical skills and safety practices.
• Stay informed about new technologies and methods in the industry.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related fields

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications systems or related fields.

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Testing Equipment

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time Management

Certifications

• Telecommunications Installation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
