Job Description

We are seeking a qualified General Practitioner to join our dedicated medical team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, providing preventative care, and developing treatment plans to enhance patient wellness in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise clinical staff and support personnel.
  • Engage in community outreach and health promotion activities.
  • Develop care plans in collaboration with patients and families.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs.
  • Keep abreast of new medical advancements relevant to practice.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff.
  • Review medical histories and assess health risks.
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Create a welcoming and supportive environment for patients.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical degree
  • Additional qualifications in pediatrics or geriatrics is a plus.
Experience
  • 2+ years of hospital or clinic-based experience
