Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' medical conditions and histories.
• Manage overall patient care and implement treatment protocols.
• Provide guidance and support for patients with chronic illnesses.
• Recruit patients for clinical trials and research when applicable.
• Utilize diagnostic procedures and tests appropriately.
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff to ensure patient satisfaction.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments.
• Participate in peer review and staff education sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Nursing
• Nursing license in South Africa required

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
