We are seeking a talented Network Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network systems to support our company’s operations. You will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure a secure and efficient network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate network requirements and recommend improvements.
• Work with vendors on network equipment and service contracts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and security standards.
• Develop disaster recovery plans for the network.
• Train and mentor junior network staff.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Certifications in network security are a plus

Experience

• 3-7 years of experience in network design and management

• Familiarity with network monitoring tools: Experience using tools like SolarWinds or Nagios for monitoring network performance.
