Job Description

As a Childcare Worker at our Port Elizabeth centre, you will be responsible for creating a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years. Your role will include planning educational activities, nurturing children's emotional development, and maintaining their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a stimulating and safe play environment.
  • Conduct observations of children and assess their developmental milestones.
  • Build strong relationships with children and their families.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain records and documentation as required by licensing standards.
  • Assist with planning and implementing special events and activities.

Requirements

Education
  • National Senior Certificate (Matric)
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Development preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years in a childcare or educational role
