Job Description

As a Freight Forwarder, you will play a critical role in managing the flow of goods and ensuring the timely delivery of shipments. Your strong organizational skills and attention to detail will enable you to manage complex logistics challenges effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping activities and manage logistics operations.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including customs declarations.
• Liaise with freight carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
• Monitor shipments and provide regular updates to clients.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies during shipment processing.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory levels.
• Assist in negotiating freight rates and contracts.
• Implement cost-saving measures in logistics operations.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
• Degree in Business or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics

Technical Skills

• Customs Regulations

Languages

• English: Fluent
