Job Description

We are seeking experienced Loading and Moving Machine Operators for our underground mining operations. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating various machinery to ensure efficient transport of materials, contributing to the overall success of our mining projects.

Responsibilities

• Navigate underground routes while operating moving machines.
• Ensure proper handling and movement of materials in accordance with site regulations.
• Perform maintenance checks and report on equipment conditions.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss safety and efficiency improvements.
• Be prepared for emergency procedures and drills as necessary.
• Document all movements and maintain logs of operations.
• Assist other team members with loading tasks as needed.
• Maintain communication with the site management regarding any issues.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent qualification

Experience

• 1-3 years experience in heavy machinery operation, especially in a mining environment.

Technical Skills

• Excavation Equipment Operation
• Safety Protocol Adherence

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Valid Driver's License (Code B or higher)
• First Aid Certification (highly advantageous)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Local Terrain: Familiarity with local off-road trails and safety requirements.
• Advanced Safety Training: Certification in additional safety protocols for tourism activities.
