Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Bone Picker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting bones, meat scraps, and other waste materials from processing plants, rendering them into value-added products.

Responsibilities

• Collect animal remains from designated areas.
• Follow strict safety and hygiene protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of collected materials.
• Ensure proper storage and disposal of collected materials.
• Perform basic maintenance on collection equipment.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant industry certifications are a plus

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Basic Computer Skills
• Equipment Maintenance

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Animal Anatomy: Understanding of basic animal anatomy for effective collection.
• Experience in Inventory Management: Skills in managing inventory and tracking supplies.
