Job Description

We are seeking a Legal Advisor to support our growing company in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background, particularly in technology law, to provide sound advice and guidance on various legal matters.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.
• Provide training to staff on legal compliance and best practices.
• Work closely with various departments to identify legal risks and opportunities.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on business operations.
• Support merger and acquisition activities by conducting due diligence.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or equivalent
• Master’s in Law preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in corporate law or legal advisory roles

Certifications

• Legal Practice Management Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
