Legal Advisor

Job Description

As a Legal Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing sound legal advice and solutions to our clients. You will be involved in contract negotiations, compliance assessments, and the development of legal strategies. This role requires a solid understanding of South African law, along with strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise on corporate governance matters and compliance issues.
• Research and evaluate legal issues related to the company’s operations.
• Assist in the preparation of legal opinions and reports.
• Support training sessions for staff on legal compliance and risk management.
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures.
• Liaise with external legal advisors and regulatory bodies.
• Manage internal audits to ensure compliance with relevant laws.
• Advise on intellectual property matters and protect company assets.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or equivalent legal qualification
• Master's degree in Law is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in corporate law or compliance
