Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure. You'll work on various projects, from commercial buildings to roadways, ensuring that they meet regulatory standards and are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Create engineering designs that meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Review and approve construction plans and modifications.
• Facilitate communication between project stakeholders to promote synergy.
• Track project progress and make adjustments to plans as needed.
• Manage resources and materials efficiently to reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
• Conduct site inspections and oversee construction activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the civil engineering industry
