Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Counselor to join our passionate team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will provide therapeutic support to clients facing various mental health challenges, facilitating their journey towards recovery and well-being. The ideal candidate is empathetic, adaptable, and committed to helping others navigate their mental health journeys.

Responsibilities

• Deliver psychotherapy and counseling to clients coping with mental health concerns.
• Identify and assess psychological disorders and challenges.
• Create a safe and supportive space for clients to express their feelings.
• Conduct follow-up assessments to track treatment effectiveness.
• Offer mental health education to clients and the community.
• Assist in the coordination of group therapy sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred

Experience

• 3 years in a similar role
