UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a creative and passionate UX/UI Designer to join our Durban team. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding user needs, creating designs that are aesthetically pleasing and functional, and enhancing user engagement through intuitive interfaces. Your work will contribute directly to building innovative digital experiences that resonate with users.

Responsibilities

• Lead design sessions with clients to understand project scope.
• Create style guides and design systems for consistent user experience.
• Utilize design tools such as Figma and Adobe XD for prototyping.
• Collaborate closely with developers throughout the implementation phase.
• Present design concepts effectively to stakeholders and team members.
• Maintain documentation on design processes and user flows.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in UX/UI Design or related field
• Further qualifications in design are welcome

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design

• Sketch

Certifications

• Certified Interaction Designer
• Google UX Design Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with HTML5 and CSS3: Understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 for integration with developers.
• Experience with Usability Testing Tools: Hands-on experience with tools like UsabilityHub or Lookback for testing designs.
