Job Description

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our Bloemfontein team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions that enable our clients to scale efficiently and securely.

Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize cloud storage solutions for scalability.
• Implement automation scripts for cloud provisioning and management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define cloud strategy and goals.
• Stay updated on cloud trends and emerging technologies.
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.
• Create and maintain infrastructure monitoring and alerting systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Postgraduate qualifications are preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience

Technical Skills

• Kubernetes
• CI/CD

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with DevOps practices: Experience implementing DevOps methodologies in cloud environments.
• Experience with cloud monitoring tools: Knowledge of tools for monitoring and optimizing cloud infrastructure.
