Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Pretoria. The role involves providing expert advice on medication, ensuring safe and effective dispensing of prescriptions, and promoting health and wellness through patient education. As a pharmacist, you will play a key role in enhancing patient care by liaising with healthcare professionals and serving our community.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized pharmaceutical care tailored to individual patient needs.
• Facilitate medication therapy management services.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Assess prescription orders for completeness and accuracy.
• Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.
• Advocate for patients’ needs and support access to medication.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Postgraduate training in clinical pharmacy is an advantage

Experience

• Experience in a managerial or supervisory role is beneficial
