Payroll Specialist

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage our payroll processes in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and compliance in payroll management and supporting financial administration across various departments.

Responsibilities

• Administer payroll for permanent and temporary employees ensuring accuracy.
• Review payroll related reports to ensure they match the financial statements.
• Support payments of pension deductions and unemployment contributions.
• Engage in the continuous improvement of payroll processes and systems.
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations affecting payroll management.
• Interface with timekeeping systems to ensure data accuracy.
• Provide analytical reports regarding payroll data for management review.
• Participate in payroll budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Cultivate relationships with employees for ongoing feedback on payroll processes.
• Assist in the transition to new payroll technologies as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or HR Management

Experience

• 5 years of experience in payroll administration

• Tax Regulations Knowledge
• Data Analysis

Certifications

• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
