Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Architect to join our Stellenbosch team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both conceptual and technical design, with an eye for detail and a commitment to sustainability. You will be involved in all phases of project development, from initial design through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural projects from concept to completion.
• Innovate space planning solutions that meet client needs.
• Ensure that all designs are functional, aesthetic, and sustainable.
• Review progress and suggest improvements during construction.
• Prepare detailed documentation and reports for each stage of a project.
• Foster relationships with clients and contractors.
• Utilize 3D modeling software to visualize design concepts.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to inform future work.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Professional experience with REI or similar builds is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in varied sectors of architecture

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• 3D Rendering
• Building Codes Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Critical Thinking

Certifications

• Registration with SACAP
• Certified Green Building Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Fluent
