Interior Designer

Job Description

As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating beautiful and functional spaces that reflect our clients' needs and desires. Your role will encompass every phase of the design process, from concept development to project execution, ensuring each project is tailored to the client's vision.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute interior layouts that enhance functionality and aesthetics.
• Work with clients to refine their design ideas and finalize selections.
• Prepare cost estimates and project schedules.
• Liaise with suppliers and negotiate contracts for materials and furnishings.
• Review and approve shop drawings and samples.
• Assist in sourcing and purchasing decor and furnishings.
• Conduct post-occupancy evaluations to assess the effectiveness of designs.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Prepare presentations for clients showcasing design proposals.
• Mentor and guide junior designers on project tasks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field
• Master's degree in Interior Architecture is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in high-end residential and commercial design

Technical Skills

• Adobe Creative Suite
• Building Codes Knowledge

• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• Certified Interior Designer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
