Job Description

Seeking an experienced pharmacist to enhance our pharmacy team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will manage prescriptions, oversee medication dispensing, and engage with patients to offer professional healthcare advice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and dispensing of medications.
• Conduct medication reconciliation for patients.
• Provide counseling on over-the-counter medications.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacotherapy and regulations.
• Assist in implementing pharmacy services that improve patient outcomes.
• Document and report adverse drug reactions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of clinical pharmacy experience
