Job Description

We are looking for an experienced General Practitioner to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality medical care to our patients. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions, conducting health assessments, and providing preventive care.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient consultations to identify health issues.
• Evaluate diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Advocate for patient health and wellness.
• Engage in community health outreach initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Postgraduate training in family medicine is advantageous

Experience

• At least 3 years of clinical experience in family practice or similar setting

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

• English: Fluent

• Training in geriatrics or pediatrics: Specialized experience with elderly or pediatric patients is an asset.
• Fluency in additional South African languages: Bilingual skills are an advantage in patient communication.
