Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead our project teams in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing building projects, ensuring quality control and adherence to budgets and timelines. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate construction activities for multiple projects.
  • Manage contractor and vendor relationships.
  • Review and approve project designs and specifications.
  • Ensure that all materials used meet quality standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and city officials.
  • Develop and implement project schedules.
  • Delegate tasks to construction teams effectively.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress.
  • Facilitate training for construction staff on safety practices.
  • Resolve on-site issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
