As a Sandblasting Supervisor, you will play a critical role in managing sandblasting operations across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure compliance with safety standards and oversee the effectiveness of our sandblasting team.
Responsibilities
Oversee operations and ensure all sandblasting work adheres to project specifications.
Conduct inspections of work sites to enforce safety compliance.
Lead the sandblasting team and ensure effective task execution.
Provide on-the-job training for new operators and ongoing support for current team members.
Evaluate the performance of sandblasting processes and recommend enhancements.
Document sandblasting activities and maintain accurate records.
Collaborate with site managers and engineers to ensure project timelines are met.
Identify and troubleshoot any operational issues that arise during the sandblasting process.
Promote a positive work environment to enhance team productivity.
Ensure proper maintenance and storage of sandblasting equipment.
Requirements
Education
National Diploma in Engineering or a related field.
Relevant sandblasting certifications will be an advantage.
Experience
At least 5 years in a supervisory role within the manufacturing or construction industry.
