Job Description

As a Clipper and Turner, you will operate and maintain lathes, milling machines, and other machine tools. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping metals and materials to precise specifications while adhering to safety practices and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Operate lathes, milling machines, and CNC tools efficiently.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on machinery as needed.
• Ensure product quality complies with industry standards.
• Communicate effectively with the production team.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in machining tasks.
• Document production processes and report any inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to maintain standards.
• Adapt to changes in production schedules and priorities.
• Participate in training and development sessions as required.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate
• Trade Test Certificate as Turner and Fitter
• Additional relevant qualifications

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in metal machining and fabrication

Languages

• English: Fluent
