We are on the lookout for a Quality Assurance Tester to join our dedicated QA team in Cape Town. You will play an essential role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through meticulous testing and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a knack for identifying bugs and providing constructive feedback to our development teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify and document software defects using bug-tracking systems.
• Assist in the development of testing strategies and methodologies.
• Perform regression testing to confirm that issues have been resolved.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in QA practices.
• Provide input for process improvements and enhance team performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in software testing

Technical Skills

• Test Automation
• SQL

Certifications

• Certified Software Tester (CSTE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with continuous integration tools: Understanding of CI tools like Jenkins or Travis CI.
