Supply Chain Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee and manage our supply chain operations in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of goods, information, and resources. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of supply chain logistics.

Responsibilities

• Drive supply chain initiatives and projects to enhance operational efficiency.
• Liaise with customers to understand their supply chain needs and improve service delivery.
• Ensure that supply chain practices align with company sustainability goals.
• Monitor and manage budget for supply chain operations.
• Lead problem-solving efforts for supply chain issues, ensuring quick resolution.
• Evaluate suppliers and logistics partners, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Report on supply chain performance to senior management regularly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Logistics or a related field
• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management is preferable

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain or logistics management

• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification: Advanced certification demonstrating expertise in process improvement.
