Interior Designer

Job Description

We are searching for a talented Interior Designer to join our Johannesburg team. You will be responsible for creating aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creative problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative design solutions that reflect the client's brand and identity.
• Draft technical drawings using design software.
• Collaborate with architects and contractors during the build process.
• Organize and lead client meetings to discuss design progress and potential adjustments.
• Analyze spatial layouts for optimal functionality and aesthetic appeal.
• Present design proposals to clients and stakeholders effectively.
• Manage multiple design projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.
• Provide post-completion follow-up with clients to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Master's degree in Design or related field is preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in a professional interior design role

Technical Skills

• Revit
• 3D Rendering Software
• Color Theory

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Collaboration

Certifications

• NCIDQ Certification
• LEED Certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Skills in 3D visualization and modeling: Hands-on experience with tools for creating visual representations of designs.
