We are on the lookout for an experienced Chemical Engineer to be a part of our innovative team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting existing processes, conducting experiments to improve production efficiency, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement innovative solutions for chemical production.
• Analyze and optimize existing processes to enhance output.
• Collaborate with product development teams to formulate new products.
• Conduct tests and analyses to ensure product quality and safety.
• Develop reports and presentations to communicate findings.
• Lead projects and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant discipline
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in chemical production or processing

Technical Skills

• Chemical Manufacturing
• Process Simulation Software

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Safety Standards: Experience with safety management systems and procedures.
• Hands-on Laboratory Experience: Proven experience working in laboratory settings and conducting experiments.
