Job Description

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health histories and conduct thorough examinations.
• Develop preventative care programs for patients.
• Manage patient appointments and coordinate care.
• Implement health management strategies for chronic disease patients.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists when necessary.
• Contribute to patient education programs focusing on wellness.
• Promote a patient-centered approach in all care delivery.
• Facilitate consultations and provide feedback to patients.
• Review and interpret diagnostic tests and results.
• Ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical qualification
• Specialisation in Family Medicine is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a clinical setting

• Emergency Medicine

Certifications

• Advanced Life Support Certification
• Certified Family Practitioner

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
