Project Engineer

Job Description

As a Project Engineer, you will oversee the planning, design, and execution of various civil engineering projects in Mbombela. This role demands strong leadership and project management skills to ensure timely delivery within budget and scope. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the civil engineering sector and a passion for innovation and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and design stages of civil engineering projects.
• Ensure all engineering designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and subcontractors during project execution.
• Prepare and present project proposals and progress reports to stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective measures as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) registration is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering project management
