Job Description

As a Project Engineer, you will oversee the planning, design, and execution of various civil engineering projects in Mbombela. This role demands strong leadership and project management skills to ensure timely delivery within budget and scope. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the civil engineering sector and a passion for innovation and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project execution.
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze project proposals.
• Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
• Oversee the design and implementation of civil engineering projects.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain project documentation including reports and contracts.
• Participate in site inspections and supervise onsite construction activities.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations and provide updates.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) registration is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering project management
