Job Description

We are looking for a Food Scientist to join our team in East London. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting research and development, ensuring food safety standards, and innovating product lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food chemistry, microbiology, and regulations guiding the food industry.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate existing products and recommend improvements based on consumer feedback and market trends.
  • Prepare and present findings to stakeholders and external partners.
  • Execute product testing and analyze results to ensure safety and satisfaction.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements in food science.
  • Contribute to sustainability initiatives within the product development process.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or related field
  • Master's degree in Food Science is an advantage
Experience
  • 2+ years of practical experience in a lab setting
