Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Data Scientist to join our Johannesburg team. You will be responsible for data analysis, building predictive models, and translating complex datasets into actionable insights. Ideal candidates have a strong background in statistical analysis, programming, and a passion for data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large volumes of data to identify patterns and trends.
• Design and implement machine learning algorithms.
• Prepare reports and dashboards for stakeholders to track performance.
• Work closely with IT teams to optimize data architecture.
• Conduct experiments to validate and enhance data models.
• Participate in project planning sessions and contribute to strategy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years in a data science role preferred
