We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and a passion for providing high-quality patient care. Your role will involve diagnosing and treating patients, as well as educating them on health management.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient health needs.
• Oversee patient care and coordinate with specialists as needed.
• Prescribe medications and manage treatment regimens.
• Facilitate patient follow-ups to ensure continuity of care.
• Advocate for patient needs and preferences.
• Contribute to community health programs and outreach.
• Mentor and train junior nursing staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Advanced Practice certification preferred

Experience

• 2+ years direct patient care experience

• Diagnostic Skills

Certifications

• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Specialization in Family Medicine: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification is a plus.
