Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a passion for patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and managing patient care effectively in a busy healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct health assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Prescribe and manage medications with appropriate follow-up.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare staff.
  • Educate patients on treatment options and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Participate in patient care reviews and case discussions.
  • Stay updated with the latest clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families.

Requirements

Education
  • Postgraduate Qualification in Advanced Nursing Practice
  • SANC Registration as a Nurse Practitioner
Experience
  • At least 5 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting
