Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Mechanical Engineer to be part of our dynamic team in Midrand. This position is essential for project design and execution, and you’ll be responsible for enhancing mechanical systems that meet our quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Design innovative mechanical systems, including CAD modeling.
• Collaborate with team members in brainstorming sessions for new projects.
• Test and validate mechanical systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on new systems and technologies.
• Research emerging technologies to improve engineering practices.
• Assist with quality control processes and product testing.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation.
• Participate in project design reviews and provide input on system improvements.
• Manage relationships with contractors and suppliers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) certification preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design or related roles
