Job Description

We are seeking a General Engineer to join our talented team in Bloemfontein. As a General Engineer, you will apply your expertise in designing, developing, and implementing engineering solutions across various projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success, while constantly seeking ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of engineering projects.
• Develop technical specifications and project plans for engineering tasks.
• Engage with stakeholders to identify project requirements and expectations.
• Monitor project progress and report on any deviations.
• Ensure high-quality design standards throughout project development.
• Collaborate with external consultants and vendors as needed.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of engineering systems.
• Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility and constraints.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field
• Advanced degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in engineering roles

• LEED Green Associate
