Job Description

We are seeking a General Engineer to join our talented team in Bloemfontein. As a General Engineer, you will apply your expertise in designing, developing, and implementing engineering solutions across various projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success, while constantly seeking ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design sessions to develop innovative solutions.
• Implement best practices in project execution and design.
• Foster a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
• Serve as a technical point of contact for external partners.
• Contribute to project budgeting and cost analysis.
• Conduct experimental tests and procedures to validate designs.
• Compile and present project findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns in engineering processes.
• Facilitate team brainstorming sessions for solution innovations.
• Evaluate project outcomes against initial specifications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field
• Advanced degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in engineering roles
