Job Description

We are currently on the lookout for an Orderly to join our Radiology team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of radiology equipment and materials across our healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

• Transport radiology supplies and equipment efficiently across the facility.
• Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or safety issues.
• Utilize electronic medical record systems for tracking transported items.
• Provide support to the radiologists and technicians to facilitate patient care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage areas for radiology equipment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification

Experience

• Prior experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting is preferred

Technical Skills

• Basic computer literacy
• Knowledge of radiology procedures

Soft Skills

• Organizational skills
• Communication skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Professional certification in transportation or logistics: Preferred certification in transportation safety or logistics management.
• Knowledge of safety protocols: Understanding of infection control protocols and practices.
