Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our team in Johannesburg. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about animal health and welfare. You will be responsible for providing medical care, performing surgeries, and conducting health assessments for our furry patients.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose health conditions in animals.
  • Administer anesthesia and perform surgical interventions.
  • Monitor post-surgery recovery and address complications.
  • Advise pet owners on health management and preventative care.
  • Collaborate with technicians and support staff for optimal care.
  • Participate in continuing education to remain updated on veterinary practices.
  • Document patient interactions and treatment protocols accurately.
  • Engage with community initiatives to promote animal welfare.
  • Conduct regular health and safety inspections in the clinic.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification is preferred
