Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimising manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and implementing innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyse production data to identify trends and propose improvements.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity.
• Assist in the implementation of quality control measures.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure material quality meets standards.
• Support the development of new product launches through process engineering.
• Provide technical support to production teams as needed.
• Lead project teams in process optimisation efforts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment
