Job Description

We are on the lookout for a meticulous Quality Assurance Tester to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality and testing, ensuring that our software products are delivered to the highest standards. You'll work closely with developers and product managers to identify, record, and track defects while also suggesting improvements.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain test plans and test cases for new and existing features.
• Coordinate with the development team to resolve issues effectively.
• Execute performance testing and analyze results for system enhancements.
• Conduct usability testing to ensure optimal user experience.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and verify business requirements.
• Provide thorough documentation and reports on testing activities.
• Facilitate root cause analysis to improve system reliability.
• Implement QA automation tools to enhance testing efficiency.
• Engage in team meetings to share knowledge and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field
• ISTQB Advanced Certification is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in quality assurance testing

Languages
