Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative structural designs on a diverse range of projects.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assess and mitigate risks related to structural integrity.
• Maintain detailed records of calculations and design modifications.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in engineering practices.
• Drive process improvements for better project delivery outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering

Technical Skills

• Concrete design
• Steel design

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Intermediate

Advantageous

• Familiarity with BIM technology: Knowledge of Building Information Modeling technology and its applications in structure design.
• Construction site experience: Experience in working on-site to ensure project specifications are met.
