Responsibilities

• Assist in the compounding of medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Monitor and control pharmacy stock levels to avoid shortages.
• Aid in the preparation of medication orders and prescriptions.
• Respond to patient queries regarding medication and pharmacy services.
• Document all medication dispensing accurately for regulatory compliance.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance pharmacy practice.

Requirements

Education

• National Certificate in Pharmacy Assistance

Experience

• Valid experience as a pharmacy technician or assistant is advantageous
