We are seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of chemical processes, safety standards, and sustainability practices. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing chemical production processes to ensure maximum efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain process simulation models.
• Assist in formulating chemical mixtures and evaluating their performance.
• Facilitate root cause analysis for production failures.
• Advocate for sustainable practices within the engineering team.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven metrics.
• Work with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
• Advanced degree in Chemical Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical process engineering
