Civil Site Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Civil Site Engineer with a robust understanding of construction methodologies and project management to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will oversee site operations, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and work closely with subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead site meetings with personnel and subcontractors to discuss project progress.
• Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to design and safety regulations.
• Analyze construction processes for improvement opportunities.
• Prepare project reports summarizing progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Develop and implement effective site management strategies.
• Evaluate contractor performance and manage overall project costs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Higher qualifications in project management or engineering are beneficial

Experience

• 4+ years of relevant field experience.

Certifications

• Registered Professional Engineer (PrEng)

Languages
