Job Description

Join our team as a Data Scientist in Cape Town, where you'll be responsible for analysing and interpreting complex data sets to drive informed business decisions. You'll work closely with stakeholders to develop predictive models and provide actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Conduct exploratory data analysis to guide strategic decisions.
• Create and test predictive models to address business challenges.
• Work with teams to identify data-driven opportunities.
• Prepare detailed reports on data analysis results.
• Document analytical processes and methodologies for future reference.
• Implement data visualization techniques to convey findings.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure data accessibility and efficiency.
• Mentor junior data analysts in best practices and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field
• Master's degree in Data Science or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics roles
