We are seeking a proactive Construction Manager to oversee various construction projects in East London. The ideal candidate will ensure quality control, manage timelines, and lead a diverse team while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations at construction sites.
• Work closely with the Project Director to align on project goals.
• Ensure that all teams are following safety protocols.
• Monitor daily progress and address any project delays.
• Develop and implement quality control measures.
• Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders.
• Prepare reports for management on project status.
• Assist in budget planning and monitoring expenditures.
• Manage procurement for construction materials and services.
• Handle disputes or challenges that arise during construction.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Professional certifications in construction management would be advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years in the construction industry with a focus on managerial roles

• Risk Management

Certifications

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
