Job Description

As a Glazier, you will play a crucial role in our dedicated installation team. Your primary responsibility will be to install and repair glass windows, doors, and partitions in a variety of settings. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and exceptional craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute glass installations based on architectural plans.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to complete projects.
• Perform quality control checks on completed work.
• Stay updated on new glass products and installation techniques.
• Provide exceptional customer service in all client interactions.
• Document installation procedures for future reference.

Requirements

Education

• National Senior Certificate
• Trade qualification in Glass and Glazing

Experience

• 2-5 years experience in the glazing field preferred

Technical Skills

• Glass cutting techniques
• Installation and repair skills

Soft Skills

• Customer service
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Forklift Operator Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to work at heights: Must be comfortable and skilled in working from ladders and scaffolding.
• Previous commercial experience preferred: Familiarity with commercial glass installations and repairs.
