Construction Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion in Durban. The ideal candidate will manage all site operations, ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, and oversee the project budget.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of construction projects from planning to completion.
• Supervise project staff and subcontractors to ensure team efficiency.
• Conduct safety meetings and enforce safety regulations.
• Inspect and review the work of subcontractors for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers on project designs.
• Report to senior management on overall project performance.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in the construction industry
