Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Philosophy and Religion Teacher to join our faculty. The successful candidate will develop engaging course materials and teach both undergraduate and graduate students. Your role will be pivotal in cultivating a rich learning environment that encourages critical analysis and reflection.

Responsibilities

  • Design engaging lectures that promote critical thinking about philosophical and religious concepts.
  • Facilitate discussions and encourage student participation in a variety of learning activities.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback on academic progress.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a productive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members for interdisciplinary projects and events.
  • Contribute to the academic community through research, publications, or presentations.
  • Assist in organizing special events related to Philosophy and Religion studies.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Philosophy, Religion, or related field
  • PhD preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in teaching at a postsecondary level
