Job Description

As a Core Drill Operator Helper, you will support the Core Drill Operator in drilling operations, assisting in the setup and maintenance of drilling equipment while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role requires physical fitness, attention to detail, and the ability to work in various outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Support the Core Drill Operator during drilling operations.
• Prepare the site for drilling by excavating access points.
• Load and unload equipment from transportation vehicles.
• Assist in the repair and maintenance of drilling equipment.
• Record and analyze data from drilling processes.
• Ensure adherence to health and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with the drilling crew.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to address challenges in the field.
• Contribute to a culture of safety and quality in all operations.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in the mining or drilling industry is a plus.

Languages
